This campaign seeks to raise and spread awareness of the negative effects that certain medications can have on drivers. It aims to prevent the damage that can occur from traffic accidents due to this cause.
The campaign is based on a TV spot that warns drivers that each time they start taking a new medicine it is important to read the information pamphlet that explains the potential side effects, such as sleepiness, lack of concentration, reduced reflexes, dizziness or changes in vision.
The spot was launched through Ponle Freno, a corporate initiative of ATRESMEDIA, one of the biggest communication groups in Spain. It has been broadcast on several TV channels and radio stations and reinforced through social media and the web page ponlefreno.com.
